Since January
2006 we have opened our doors two days a week to anyone who is in need of food,
clothes, counseling or anything else we might be able to provide.
At this time we
are serving approximately 75 to 80 families a month. We are able to do this by
the grace of God and donations from the community.
Our main sponsors
are Crossroads Café of Oakley, MI., Nixon’s Grocery of Brant, MI., and Broad
Street Pharmacy of Chesaning, MI. Thank
you to all of the other sponsors for the month of June that are listed below.
Our Compassionate
Ministry would like you to consider helping us in any way you could in our
mission. We are in need of food, paper products, cleaning supplies (laundry
soap, dish soap hand soap, etc.), personal items (shampoo, deodorant,
toothpaste, toothbrushes, brushes, combs, etc.)
Our hours are
Tuesday and Wednesday 9:30 to 1:00. If you are unable to come at that time you
are free to make an appointment by calling Oakley Community Church at (989)
845-4644.
Thank you in
advance for anything you might be able to do for the less fortunate among us.
